While The Federation Faction is not representative of the actual Prosperian Federation Government, it is primarily a defacto “Citizen Faction” where all Prosperian Citizens (rank lvl 3) begin their faction journey. Members of The Federation enjoy many benefits other Prosperians do not as the Federation Government tends to turn a blind eye to their illicit activities, neutral zone space piracy and heavy handed control over territorial disputes within the Prosperian civilization. Additionally, The Federation Faction has active duty Federation Government law enforcement officers, members of the military and officials within its ranks. This empowers The Federation Faction to take actions with legal standing all other factions do not have at their disposal. Including control of permits and other important resources/assets other factions may require for empire building.
